Each character is governed by one of the five elements so a good strategy is to have at least three players belonging to three different elements (Earth, Fire and Water) in your team. A character belonging to light or dark element will not have any effects on the elements.

Make sure your characters health does not reach zero otherwise you will lose the game, if your health is getting low either switch characters or summon a friend to fight for you for 15 seconds. To summon a friend tap on the 'Friend Profile' button on the bottom-right of the screen.

Remember that you can always sitch to another character if you find that during a battle your opponents element is stronger than the character you are currently using.

Using Auto mode instead of fighting manually is a good way to defeat opponents without losing too much health.

Make sure you upgrade the gear you pick up from defeated opponents as these pieces of equipment can play a big role in battles. Some of these items may require spending gems to upgrade them faster.
