It is simple. Stand on a box, pick it up and mash the jump button. If you are positioned somwhere in the middle, you should not fall. You can walk if you want. To stop, stop holding the box. You can do the same thing with a barrel, but there is an easier way. Stand in the middle of a barrel, pick it up, take one step back and you should be flying up infinitely. To stop, jump or release the barrel. You can do something like that with any object, but there is a glitch where you do it with no object. At the beginning of the second level, jump on the wall, and mash the jump button. You have to jump somewhere where the low part and the high part collide. After you fly up, mash the jump button and go towards the weird dot( the only thing visible). When you fall, you should have passed the cutscene trigger and you can now take a close look at the monster.
