It automatically uses it. You can purge if you like but I've found no benefit to it. The nitrous is set up pretty much like a real drag car. Most of us who have or do use it in heads up racing classes such as 4.90 or any pdra or quick 8 pro modified classes have it set up through the computer so that at the release of the clutch or transbrake the nitrous is timed in through a computer.
