Getting rid of monsters that have fallen into a corner can be difficult because you cannot use them as a corner piece to finish a match and they eat adjacent jellies. The most effective method to eliminate the is to use the Jelly Storm special jelly. Jelly Shots and Jelly Swirls will also do the job.

Monsters do not eat special jellies so do not worry if you have created a special jelly close to one. Just take your time and strategise around them.

Special jellies will eliminate any monsters that are not the same colour when it unleashes it's destructive force.

If you tap and hold while drawing a box around 5 or more jellies a preview will appear of what kind of special piece will be created. Make sure you pay attention to the beam of light that travels horizontally, vertically, or spins around a bit.

When you match the indicated number of jellies inside a box you will create the corresponding special jellies.

5 Jellies

Match 5 jellies to make a Jelly Shot. When matched, it will shoot out a beam that destroys everying in the direction that matches it's appearance.

6 Jellies

Match 6 to make a Jelly Swirl. When matched, it pulls surrounding jellies towards it, destroying them.

7 or More Jellies

Matching 7 or more jellies will make a Jelly Storm. When matched, it launches lightning bolts that destroys all jellies of the same colour.
