A good strategy in this game when you find yourself in trouble is to run from left to right leading your enemies on a wild-goose chase with the objective of bunching them together for a Special attack.

When you die you will retain ALL your items and Experience points and respawn at the entrance.

Scattered around each area you will find mini-games which are easy to complete and will provide you with cash and experience.

It is always worth taking the time to explore the map before heading to the pinpointed objective.

When you level up your Mana and Health bars are refilled completely so a good strategy is to keep an eye on your Experience bar and try and survive until you level up rather than using a potion.

Study the combat animations of the creatures that you will be going up against as they reveal the type of damage (area-of-effect or local) that is about to land and what is required to avoid it.
