Hints hints and tips for Despicable Me: Minion Rush

Runway

Take control of your minion using your device's tilt functionality when you see a large patch of green runway coming up. It is more important at this point to forget about grabbing every banana and instead concentrate on surviving by making gentle movements.

Minions

If given the option of either grabbing a handful of bananas or taking out a fellow minion it is more beneficial to do the later as it will increase your scoring multiplier. To take the minion out just make sure you are in the nearest lane to them and your minion will automatically do the rest.

Vector

To defeat Vector you must avoid the large units that he drops onto the lanes and fire the shielded units back at him. This is done by staying out of harms way and tapping the explosive objects to send them flying towards his ship.

Upgrade

Always trade in the bananas you collected at the shop to upgrade your minion. Make the Minion Shield your first priority to upgrade so you are able to survive a collision.

Goals

Try to complete the goals that you are given throughout the game, they are not hard to complete and you will be rewarded with lots of tokens that will help you survive. These tokens will also open new environments for you to explore.

Switch Lanes

It is possible to switch lanes in mid-air so don't forget to take advantage of this feature when you see an upcoming obstacle.

Restart

If you run out of tokens and the Revive timer message keeps appearing you can tap rapidly anywhere on the screen outside the Rivive box to start a new game. If you do want to Revive however it will cost more with each successive use in any single run.

Unicorn

Make sure you always grab the Fluffy Unicorn icon whenever it appears on screen. When you then unlock it from the store a mini-game will become enabled that allows you to earn bonus bananas.
