Time
Time is not a factor during battles so if you want to try and get a high rating there is no need to rush. The game penalizes you for taking damage not for playing slowly.
Rewards
Your active quests are displayed on the left side of the main screen on a pop-out menu. Make sure you go in and claim your rewards when a notification appears so that you can move on to the next one.
Abilities
There are certain abilities that can only be unlocked when others have reached specific proficiency levels. It is worth taking the time reaching these levels so these abilities which are usually strong can be unlocked in the Ancients menu.
