To get your Gold back when you run out go to Cydia and click on the hack. Instead of 'Install' you will have two choices. Click 'Reinstall' and you will have your Gold back.
Start a level that requires your hero to complete a task. When you complete the task press the 'Pause' button and quit. You will notice that you still have the money and Hero Exp that you earned in the level.
