If you find yourself struggling on a certain point of a dance go to the 'Moves' menu and keep repeating that section until you have mastered it.
Make sure you are surrounded by plenty of space when you play as the game will sometimes focus on elegant swooping movements which will be impossible to do in a confined area.
Be prepared to experience long periods of gameplay from the start as even the entry-level dances require a lot of co-ordination and co-operation.
