The Story / Plot

The continuing saga of the Master Chief begins with a new adventure that immediately follows the events of Halo 3 -- the Chief and Cortana were set adrift on the derelict battleship "Forward Unto Dawn" and have somehow survived, though not without effect.

So far the pre-release reveals have included scenes in which Cortana wakes the Master Chief from his cryogenic stasis as the ship is falling into a decaying orbit around the planet Requiem -- and believing that what he faces is simply the need to escape from the Forward unto Dawn as it crashes into the planet, the pair discover that they are not alone -- that a familiar threat and a new one wait for them on the planet surface.
