Chapter 3: The Guardhouse

Continue to the left and open the green chest. Pull the lever next and climb the ladder. Jump down to the previous section and pull the crank. As you're pulling it, a cyclops will appear. Concentrate on dealing short combos and evading its attacks so you can build your rage meter and easily stagger it. Once weakened, grapple it and control it for a short time to quickly get rid of the possessed prisoners.

Pull the crank next and use the ladder again to the left so you can jump from the ledge and swing across to the next ledge. Open the red chest then grab on the next wooden beam. Press square to smash the windows and get inside. One of the mutated hands will grab and attack you. Press L1 and R1 quickly to free yourself and to fight this enemy. Quickly go to the left side to prevent it from using its sweeping attacks. Keep attacking it and evading its overhead attacks until a QTE appears. Pull it to deal considerable damage to it.

Next, it will release several insects and will use double sweep attacks. It will be difficult to evade these as it requires good timing to pull off. Once enough damage is dealt, another QTE will trigger. For the last phase, it won't use it's sweep attacks anymore but be cautious since it's larger hand and claw will land at the same time. Cancel your combos and evade quickly when needed. Once a red marker appears, get near and grapple it to initiate the execution QTE.

Upon reaching the next area, enter the next hall and open the red Chests. Pull the lever then exit the hallway and continue to the right, where you'll find Megaera and a few of her minions. You can easily grab these and throw them to the moving grinder. Before interacting with the object, go to the left to find a red chest. Interact with the machine for the platform to ascend. Take out the next set of infected beasts then remove the two clamps holding the platform in place. Interact with the moving gears again to continue your ascend.

Kill the next set of enemies and jump to grapple the obstruction. Once it is removed, you have to quickly climb the wall to avoid getting crushed by the massive gears. Once you've reached the ledge, open the green chest and climb the ladder to exit the area.
