Relationships
In The Sims Social, you can only be the lover of one Sim at a time. Anything else would be too uncouth! Of course, you can still break up with that Sim and then begin a serious relationship with another.
At this stage, there is no family element to The Sims Social. You cannot have children in the game, though this is practically a certainty to be added in soon. You also cannot move in with another Sim.
You can be friends with other Sims, Romantic Partners, or Enemies. This is primarily determined by how you treat them in conversation. Flirting, kissing and so on, are all interactions you can have that can ultimately end in a romantic relationship. Be sure not to repeat the same move twice, however, or the other Sim will react negatively. Eventually, you are asked if you would like to request the other Sim join you in a romantic relationship – if they agree, that’s it! Again, even Romantic Partners in The Sims Social cannot currently have children. Sometimes the request to become partners does not carry through – you have to wait for it to expire before trying again – this seems to be a glitch with the game.
You can ‘Woo-hoo’ with another Sim once you are in a ‘Strong Relationship’ with them. You need a Double Bed, Shower or Bathtub to be able to get this interaction option.
How to Get a Mean Relationship
To get a Mean relationship, which is necessary for certain quests, as opposed to merely Friendly Rivalries, you need to constantly insult the other Sim. They then need to accept the change in the relationship status. Stealing their food and putting spider in their toilet are both effective in this regard too.
How to Woohoo
To be able to Woohoo with another Sim, you need to be in a strong relationship with them. Becoming ‘Naughty Friends' works well, though the other friend needs to accept this change in status before the option to Woohoo appears. You will also need a shower or double-bed to facilitate this interaction.

I can't evolve from going steady to inseparable although I constantly click approve. Another screen pops up asking me if I want to send out gifts. Which I can't; my game is full of bugs.
My main concern is that I can't ask EA for help 'cuz I have to do it via playfish and don't have a MASTER ID. Don't even know what that is.
Does anyone know if there's a way around the relationship glitch? How can I become inseparable? And with that unlock new social interactions.
I also can't ask my friends for quest items or ask for energy, so the game has become pretty much worthless to me. Which is a pity.
I'd appreciate any kind of suggestion, especially concerning the relationship issue.

I have been consistently mean to another Sim for 6 weeks now but the relationship will not move beyond Friendly Rivals+. In fact, there isn't even an icon for a meaner relationship on the slide bar. Am I doing something wrong? What can be done? Is it a bug?

how do you become in a naughty relationship with bella, the only reason I want to be in a relationship with bella is because well she has a beach house and a swimming pool and changing room, I want to whoohoo in the pool and in the changing room and skinny dip together in the pool,too,and I even tried making out with her on that little bed like thing outside her beach house and I thought it would effect it all lot, but it didn't even effect it one little bit.Please help me, please.

i was trying to do a quest on my sims, and it asked me to be naughty friends with someone, so i did. my boyfriend became naughty friends with me so as to complete his quest. me and my boyfriend are now in a romantic relationship again and i cant figure out how to get out of naughty friends with the other person. how do i get back to regular friends without going towards romantic relationship? i just want them to have a friendly relationship. also, once you place a room can you move it? if its not built yet?and is there a cheat to get certificates and contracts without posting stuff to your wall? thankss
Whenever you see the 'shy kiss' - do it. It will move the relationship up to the next level.
Nobody is getting past 'friends' with Miz Bella. Period. Don't try too many romantic overtures with her, coz she'll just reject them and you'll get a -- on relationship status with her.
If you're in a relationship with another Sim, you won't be allowed to kiss another Sim, either. It will ask the other Sim if they want to break up their current romantic relationship.
It's best I've found that no matter what kind of romantic relationship you're in, it works better if you do some 'chat' or other stuff first before trying to get right to the romantic interactions. Mostly they'll reject that right off, is what I've found out.
These are things I've noticed playing this Game.
And if you keep getting the 'hit a snag' glitch, it's either coz you have a slow-ass internet connection, or the PlayFish game server is overloaded with traffic.
