Gift Giving
As explained earlier, you are able to give your friends assistance while playing Avengers Alliance, and a good tactic for these it to exchange S.H.I.E.L.D. points with each other. These you can give for free and so are a great way for advancing through the game. Once you reach the later levels though, S.H.I.E.L.D. points become less useful, so you may choose to exchange Energy points with your friends, as these come in very handy later on.
Gifts Not Working:
If you are unable to accept your Friends' gifts on Facebook, you have probably reached your Gift limit for the day. This is to stop people with hundreds of friends that play the game from being given a huge advantage. You can only accept 50 gifts per day. If this is the case you should see a message saying 'Gift Limit Reached' at the top of the screen.

I have a weider probleam... i can't even send gifts... to anyone at all... nor invite... nor accept their gifts... so weird
on the gift list, there is a bar called "search for friends" type in friends name..it will appear
Yeah, I have the same problem as shmeeshmaashmoo. I have one friend that's not even on my send gift list. I can't send him anything, but he can send me anything and I can return the favor only. Tried to send him a flight crew request but can't since he;s not on the list. -_-
i cant give or receive gifts from a certain ally! everything's fine with my other allies.
instead of saying "gift limit reached," it just says "gift limit"
was this part of a new update? that we're only allowed to give a certain amount of gifts to one ally?
I havent noticed if this lasts only for a day or forever.
