Gun Club: Shotgun Challenges

The challenges for this set allow the use of the Pump Shotgun, Sawed-Off Shotgun, and Assault Shotgun -- though if you do not own any of these than the one you do not have access to will be locked. To unlock it you either need to buy it or you need to earn a Gold Medal in one of the challenges for this weapon.

For purposes of unlocking the Gold Medals in the three challenges below you should try to use the weapon you are the most confident with.

Bonus Building
One of the tricks to getting good scores is NOT to miss. Ever. Missing resets the bonus levels. As long as you hit the target you will not reset the bonus. Shooting and hitting anything but the target and obtaining a score constitutes missing.

Challenge 1: Static Targets.
To obtain a Gold Medal you must score 46 or more. For a Silver Medal you must score 32 or more. To obtain a Bronze Medal you must score 22 or more.

There is actually a trick to this one -- your character can move so you can move to the right and then work the targets from right-to-left, shooting along the edge so you take the entire row out in one shot! The bonus adds up incredibly and once you get used to relocating yourself physically to line up the targets you will have absolutely no problem getting a Gold Medal on this.

Challenge 2: Moving and Static Targets.
To access Challenge 2 you must first rank at least a Bronze Medal in Challenge 1.

To obtain a Gold Medal you must score 700 or more. For a Silver Medal you must score 590 or more. To obtain a Bronze Medal you must score 290 or more.

For this challenge you are not shooting buckshot, you are shooting deer slugs, and so accuracy counts. Just be sure to hit the center of the target for each target and getting Gold on this should not be much of a challenge for you!

Challenge 3: Moving Targets Exit after One Hit.
To access Challenge 3 you must first rank at least a Bronze Medal in Challenge 2.

To obtain a Gold Medal you must score 23 or more. For a Silver Medal you must score 18 or more. To obtain a Bronze Medal you must score 14 or more.

For this challenge the objective is to hit x number of targets as each target counts as 1 point. So obviously the number you want to hit is 23 or more.

A helpful hint is to keep an eye out for the sets of targets that converge on each other so you can take out more than one target with one shot -- this is helpful because the reloading time is what costs you points, as the targets have a set path and then are retracted from the range. You need to try not to let ANY get away if you can help it!
