Flight School: Inverted Flight
Latest update by CMBF
on Sep 29th 2013
The next lesson requires you to complete a set of instructions to practice inverted (upside down) flight. Completing this in under 1 minute 40 seconds will get you a gold medal; under 2 minutes will get you a silver medal; and under two minutes and 20 seconds a bronze medal.
Most of the players who do this seem to end up with a silver medal but you can easily get gold if you do the following...
(1) Do not go by the spoken prompting that Jackson offers because it is often delayed
-- instead watch the right side of the screen for the red completion bar to appear and, when it does, execute the move no matter what Jackson is actually saying. This will save you a lot of lost seconds.
(2) Altitude is your Friend.
The game will prompt you to head for the altitude of the marker and you should (must) do that but, as soon as you trip the marker and BEFORE Jackson begins asking you to complete moves, keep going up an other few hundred feet AND bank a little left so you are not heading towards the tall buildings ahead but to their left, towards the Vinewood Sign.
(3) Remember to execute the moves when the red completion meter appears
, not when Jackson tells you to. For the last move, flying upside down, you have to maintain that inverted flight for around 10 second (there is a meter that will fill).
Simply remember to reverse your stick direction in order to maintain level flight and you will be fine.
If you follow these directions and tips you will get the gold medal with over 20 seconds to spare!
