Introduction

Hello, this is Money_polo12321 and today I shall be reviewing the Xbox 360 killer app Gears of War.Gears takes place in the future where the planet has been attacked by an alien group called the Locusts.You play a soldier for the army named Marcus Fenix.Your job is kill every locust that you see.

Graphics

The graphics and special effects in this game are just amazing.But there is just a really slight drawback,this game's graphics were obviously designed for HD T.V.'s so you don't get as good of graphics if your T.V. Is non-HD.But the Non-HD graphics still exceed the current-gen HD graphiced game out there.

Sound

The sounds in this game are really syncronized with any new thing that appears. You can detect when the enemies are going to appear by paying attention to the game.Besides that there isn't that much real music or backgroound sound in the game,just the sound of shots being fired and sound effects which are just amazing.

Gameplay

Gameplay is one of this games strong points,the cover system is easy to learn and use.But your teams A.I. Is seriously lacking. I.E.:Dom(Your main partner) will sometimes walk right up to the Locusts and get blown up with a shotgun blast.And nobody likes to babysit video game A.I.

Lastability

This is a really long game.The story mode will take you days on the easiest setting.But it's extremely fun and you'll love doing it.So you'll be playing this one for a long time for the achievements that come with beating this game on every mode.Then there is online mode.The online mode is awesome and you'll play it everyday.With online mode this game will probably last as long as Halo 2 did, years.

Overall

Graphics got a 9 for being superb but they're noticeably aimed at HD T.V.s. Sound got an 8 for good sound effects but no real backgroun music or sound. Gameplay got a 9 for a good new cover system but lacking human A.I. Finally Lastibility got a 10 for a long story line, multiple difficulties all with achievements and an online mode that easily rivals Halo 2's.
