This mode is unlocked after obtaining 40 stars in the campaign. Aftermath is basically an extended portion of the Gears of War 3 timeline. There are no Declassified missions or independent sections in this mode.

Steel Nerves (10 points)
Completed all Campaign Chapters on at least Normal difficulty
Completing the campaign in a higher difficulty also unlocks the achievement for the lower difficulties.
Iron Fist (25 points)
Completed all Campaign Chapters on at least Hardcore difficulty
Completing the campaign in a higher difficulty also unlocks the achievement for the lower difficulties.
Lion Heart (50 points)
Completed all Campaign Chapters on Insane difficulty
This is unlocked by completing the game once in any lower difficulty. For co-op play, the other players should have also beaten the game once and enabled this difficulty. You also have to do all Declassified missions and earn 3 stars for every section while on Insane.
Party People (10 points)
Played any section in 4 player Co-Op
You just need to play with three other people on any difficulty and complete a section. If you joined an existing game in the middle of an area, it won’t be counted towards the achievement.
Blood Brothers (50 points)
Completed all Campaign Chapters in Co-op
You should complete all campaign chapters with at least one other player. Aftermath is not required to get this achievement.
Challenge Accepted (5 points)
Completed your first Declassified mission

Declassify missions are optional objectives that can be triggered by activating a large, red COG skull. There are one declassify mission per section of the campaign (except Aftermath) with varying conditions. These extra conditions or objectives will make the section a bit more challenging but will help you earn stars faster. All declassify missions are explained and tackled in the guide’s Walkthrough section.

You can access the teaser by going to Main Menu > Campaign > Aftermath > Teaser. You don’t need to watch the full length of the teaser. You can cancel and back out once it starts.

At the end of each section, you’ll be graded by your performance. Activating declassify missions helps you earn stars faster since they give a large chunk of points at the end of the section. Combine that with skillful and careful gameplay and you’ll be able to get 3 stars for each section.

Ribbon Master (10 points)
Earned 3 unique Ribbons in any section
Ribbons are obtained by completing various tasks in the game. The following are the easier ribbons to obtain are as follows:
• Hat Trick - Score 3 headshots in a row without dying
• Clusterluck - Killed multiple enemies with one grenade
• Lumberjack - Chainsawed 3 enemies in a row
• Boombardier - Killed multiple enemies with a single Boomshot
• Headless Evadesman - Killed evading enemy with headshot
• Charge! - Retro Charged 3 enemies in a row
• Once More Unto The Breech - 5 kills in a row with Breechshot
• Plug That Hole - Closed E-Hole with explosives
• Flamebroiled - Killed 3 enemies in a row with Scorcher
Proud Wearer (5 points)
Equipped your first Medal
This is unlocked automatically if you have a season pass or VIP Membership. You’ll also unlock medals by completing various tasks such as playing a set number of matches, getting a number of kills with different weapons, or reaching a certain level, etc. Go to Stats and Awards then go to the Medals tab by pressing RB to check the requirement for each medal.
Ready for War (20 points)
Earned at least one Onyx medal
Each medal has four levels or stars. The requirement to reach the next level or star changes as you increase in level. Maxing out a medal makes it an Onyx. The easiest probably is the Survivalist medal which will just require you to complete 40 sections of campaign without reloading from a checkpoint. Sections are practically short so you can just Retry the section. If you’re having difficulties staying alive, completing the game in Casual should be enough.
Sybarite (50 points)
Earned the Onyx "War Supporter" medal
This medal requires you to play in Gears events found in the Versus menu. Play through these Special Events until you unlock the medal. This changes weekly.
Seriously Judgmental (75 points)
Completed all Declassified Missions on Insane difficulty
This is unlocked by completing the game once in any lower difficulty. For co-op play, the other players should have also beaten the game once and enabled this difficulty.

You’ll earn experience in any game mode. You’ll also get extra experience from Prizeboxes that will be unlocked automatically for completing certain tasks. Aside from that, you can also join special events, promos or get a VIP pass. VIP users can enter a game mode where you can get double XP.

After maxing out your level, you can go to Stats & Rewards. At the bottom, you’ll find instructions on what to do. Press X and confirm. Aside from resetting your level, you won’t lose anything else in the game.
Death to Locust (10 points)
Killed with all classes of COG in Overrun or Survival
Go to Versus/Overrun/ Survival. The classes are: Engineer, Soldier, Scout and Medic. Get a kill then change your class upon death and repeat the process. This is obtainable through private matches as well.
Death to the COG (10 points)
Killed with all classes of Locust in Overrun
Select Overrun. This is easily done in a private match with bots. Make sure to turn off the Mercy Rule to prolong the game. There are two tiers of Locust class that you can play. You’ll start with Tier 1 locusts which costs nothing to play. Tier 2 however, requires a certain amount of points before you can play them. Points are accumulated by killing enemies and dealing damage. Once you’ve reached the required points for your preferred T2 class, you can use those points to play as that class. The spent points are technically consumed so you have to earn points a gain to play the same class or get a different T2 class.
Tier 1: Ticker, Wretch, Grenadier, Kantus
Tier 2: Rager (1500), Serapede (2400), Mauler (3500), Corpser (5000)
Survivor (10 points)
Completed wave 10 on all maps in Survival mode
The maps in Survival mode are: Skyline, Island, Estate and Junkyard.
It will be easier to play this with friends but it is still possible to rely on bots and play this alone on Casual. You have an E-Hole to protect against waves of enemies. There’s not time limit and enemy types and composition will vary for every wave. If your E-Hole gets destroyed twice, you have to defend the generator.
Globe Trotter (10 points)
Won a match on every map in all Versus modes
There are three Versus modes (Free for All, Team Deathmatch and Domination) with four maps (Gondola, Rig, Library, Streets). You have to win 12 matches in all modes and maps. You can play against bots on Casual mode if you want to do this alone.
Jack of All Trades (10 points)
Won 10 matches of Overrun
Overrun mode will allow you to play either as Locusts or Humans. As a human, you have to defend the e-hole whereas as a locust, you have to destroy it. There are barriers that you can erect or you must destroy in order to defend or destroy the objective.
Team Leader (10 points)
Won 10 rounds of Team Deathmatch
If you want this achievement unlocked easily, set up a private match against bots.
All Rounder (10 points)
Won one match in Free For All, Team Deathmatch, and Domination

Roaming Free (10 points)
Won one match on every map in Free For All
Refer to “Globe Trotter” achievement.
Team On Tour (10 points)
Won one match on every map in Team Deathmatch
