Vera Mission #3: Get the Girl

"Save Karen"

This is the culmination of the last few missions, since Karen's kidnapping. We know that she is being held on the roof of the City of Saints Casino, Franks HQ, so Vera, E-Man and Jason are planning to storm it.

After the cut scene the attack begins. you need to stick with your allies (Vera and E-Man) at all times. You will be given a 15-second warning to catch up to them should you fall behind (or go too far ahead!). They begin by running off, so follow them at the start of this mission. They'll be waiting at the entrance to the Casino for you.

Upon entering, you will instantly be set upon by frank's henchmen, so take cover and deal with the first room. You need to fight your way to the Elevator. There are two waves of about half a dozen enemies to contend with before you have a free-run at the Elevator. Once you get in, you will (eventually) get to the roof.

There, you need to take out the helicopter on the roof. Stay in the cover you begin with and move around it as the helicopter moves so that you don't get hit by its machine guns. Use the rocket launcher provided to land shot after shot on it until its healthbar reaches zero. It is moving frequently but is almost impossible to hit while doing so. Wait for it to settle then fire as many shots as you can at it in that time, before it moves again.

Once it's destroyed, Vera helps you rescue Karen and the team make their getaway in one of frank's cars. Vera's outstanding driving means we reach a boat, at which point she sacrifices herself for the team. Jason, Karen and E-Man escape in the boat, completing chapter 3 and ending this epic mission.
