Special Zoids:
Beat (mission mode) with one side, and then with the other side to Unlock the special Zoids
Beat (Battle Mode) with someone from the Bit series to unlock Bits three Ligers
Beat (Battle Mode) with Van or a Zoid from the Zoid series this will enable the Blade Ligers, Gustav and Giga Gogulous to be unlocked!
