I. Techniques

 a. Wavedashing
  1. Regular
In order to wavedash, you must have quick hands. Press any jump button and just as you leave the ground, press L or R while holding v+>/<. If done right, you will slide a little bit. Luigi has the best wavedash for some reason.
  2. Super
To do a Super Wavedash, you must become Samus. Use your Bomb and hold the opposite direction you want to super wavedash. Just as you hit the ground from laying the bomb, pull the control stick to the way that you want to super wavedash. If done right, you will slide across the ground until you either stop or you hit something. The faster you press the other button, the farther you go.

 b. L-Canceling
The L-Cancel is not that hard to do. If you use an air attack(like Links down thrust)and you have lag, press L or R just before you hit the ground and the lag will be cut in half.

 c. Ukime
You may not have heard of this but most of you know it. The Ukime is a great technique where you stop the lag of being attacked. What you do is when you are sent flying by an enemy, just before you hit the ground, press L or R. Also if you hold left or right, you will roll and still be able to attack. You might call it Teching, but that isnt what it is called.

 d. Quick Shielding
This takes perfect timing. When an enemy attacks, if you press L or R just before the attack hits you, you wont take any damage, unless it is Marths B move, because that is shield breaker and you use your shield to quick shield. Also if you are quick shielding a projectile, if done at the right time, it will deflect.

 e. v+b Survival
   This is a handy technique. If you press B+v before you hit the ground, you will float a little and dodge a possible attack that the enemy could be using. Here is a list of people that can do this;
Ness
Fox
Falco
Mario--------------------------------------------------------------------+
Luigi These three have to rapidly press B for it to work|
Dr. Mario----------------------------------------------------------------+
Marth
Roy
Bowser
Yoshi
Ice Climbers
Zelda\Sheik
Mr. Game & Watch
Samus
Kirby
If you press the buttons at just the right time, it can fake out enemies and leave them vulnerable for attacks.

 f. Flight Pass
This is also useful. If you have an enemy in your hold and another enemy attacks you, the enemy you are holding takes the flight for you and it is multiplied by their handicap and damage.

II. Glitches

 a. Freeze Glitch
Character(s): Ice Climbers
Stage: any
Definition: The enemy is frozen in place and all the attacks pile up as one big combo.
How to do: As Popo, grab any item and when there is an enemy in front of you, discard it with Z+v and Nana will grab the enemy. While Nana is holding the enemy, press B+>/< and if done right, the enemy will be frozen in place. Also if the enemy is over 200% damage, you can press B/B+v and freeze the enemy in ice.

 b. Infinite Super Scope
Character(s): anyone
Stage: any
Definition: You can use as many SS bullets as you want with that super scope.
How to do: Shoot 15 regular shots with one super scope and 2 fully charged shots. Charge up another shot and get hit before it gets released. You can now shoot as many bullets with that super scope as you want.

 c. Extended Grapple
Character(s): Samus
Stage: any
Definition: The Grapple Beam is twice as long.
How to do: Rapidly press Z and rotate your thumb around the D-Pad counter clockwise at the same time and eventually the grapple will be double the size. However, you must press A or Z to get the grapple to actually grab someone.

 d. Super Morph Ball Jump
Character(s): Samus, Peach
Stage: any
Definition: Samus can jump multiple times using a Turnip.
How to do: As Peach, pull out a Turnip and give it to Samus. Have Samus Press and hold ^ and then press A. The Turnip should go a little bit higher than Samus. Jump again and press B+v rapidly. If done right, the Turnip should blow up the bomb and go higher and so should you. You can do this Turnip Jump 1-7 times, depending on how fast you press the buttons.

 e. High Jump
Character(s): Samus
Stage: any
Definition: Samus can go higher than with the screw attack.
How to do: While you are in the air, press R+^ and quickly(without letting go of those two buttons)press A. If done right, Samus can go higher than with the Screw Attack alone. Also the faster you press those buttons, the higher you go.

 f. Rapid Grapple
Character(s): Samus
Stage: any with a wall
Definition: If you press the buttons at the correct time, you can rapidly use your grapple.
How to do: Go up to a wall and press Z. Right when you hear the sound, press the button again. If you press the button too fast, you will shield and if you press it too slow, you will shield.

 g. Ghost Stage
Character(s): anyone
Stage: Hyrule Temple
Definition: A Character will go through the stage.
How to do: Go to Training Mode and turn the enemy to 999% Damage. Bring him/her to the bottom part of the stage. Put the CPU on the stone part and you on the grassy part. Get a bat and do a Home-Run on them and the enemy will bounce off the part with the two platforms and go straight through the stage to the other side and get KOs there.

 h. Luigi Ladder
Character(s): Luigi
Stage: for best results, I recommend Corneria
Definition: If done right, the two Luigis will go above the limit.
How to do: Get the two Luigis ready. Have one jump and the other one use B+^. Keep having them use it and they will get higher and higher until one of them is too close to the other and burns him and he dies(if you got very high, you will see him fall to the bottom of the screen). Also, if there is a roof above you and you do the ladder, it will look like the two Luigis are fighting in midair.

 i. Deflector Lag Reduction
Character(s): Fox/Falco
Stage: any
Definition: You can attack directly after you use the deflectors.
How to do: All you have to do to reduce the lag of the deflector is jump just as you release the deflector. That is how you can make a great KOing combo.

 j. Super Teleport
Character(s): Mario/Dr. Mario, Zelda\Shiek/Mewtwo
Stage: any
Definition: The Character will teleport to the other side of the stage.
How to do: When you use a teleport move, have Mario/Dr. Mario use their cape and the teleporter will go to the other side of the stage.

 k. Negative Gravity
Character(s): Peach, anyone
Stage: Hyrule Temple
Definition: The character will stick to the ceiling for a few seconds.
How to do: Go to Training Mode and go to the bottom part of the Temple. Turn the enemy to 999% damage and hold v. While the enemy is right in front of you, keep pressing A while holding v. You will slap at the ground and eventually the CPU will stick to the ceiling for a few seconds.
