Many people are wondering why am I doing a FAQ for an old game? The reasons are: .Resident Evil 2 is one of the best games. .Just recently it was remade on GameCube. .I like writing games FAQs. At the end all I hope is that you like and respect my work. [0B] V I E W T E S T First you must use "Courier New" font for this FAQ to see it right! Ok: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I A-a-B-b-C-c-D-d Resident Evil 2 If you see it in one line, and the words are correct, you will pass this test. uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu SPOILER-FREE WALKTHROUGH uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu [01] T H E S T R E E T S .Kill or avoid the zombies and enter the shop. .Search the shop to get 2 boxes of Hand Gun Bullets. .Stand between the counters, and shot the zombies. .Get the Shotgun for Leon, or Bow Gun for Claire. .Search the van at the end of the alleyway (after you exit the shop) to get some Hand Gun Bullets. .After you comedown through the staers, search the trash to get Hand Gun Bullets. .Inside the bus search the back bag to get Hand Gun Bullets, and kill the zombies. [02] THE POLICE STATION .Go through the only unlocked door, you will get a Card Key. .Use the Card Key on the computer in the main hall to unlock the other two doors. .In the briefing room use the lighter in the fireplace to get the Red Jewel. .In first floor hallway (the first room to the left) a new enemy will attack, the Licker. Gain some distance and blast him with your shotgun or Bowgun. .Get the other Red Jewel from the second floor, in the room that got the two statues. Move the two statues to the red spots in the wall to get the Red Jewel. .Use the two Jewels in the room with the big statue between two small ones hanged to the wall. .Use the Unicorn Coin (found in the second floor hall) on the fountain in the main hall to get the Spade Key. .In library room, after you fell through the weak spot in the floor, use the buttons on the end of each bookcase. Move them just as shown in the picture. .In the room with furnace, light them in this order: 12, 13, 11 to get the Golden Cog Wheel. .On the roof, a helicopter crashed. You must fined the Valve Handle to use it on the water pressure. See the stairs to the right? Go down until you get to the dark room, here you will fined the Valve Handle. Now you can go to the room that was on fire. .Use the Diamonod Key to enter the evidence room, get the Plastic Explosives if your playing as Claire. Now exit through the other door. .In this room something will happened, get the Key as leon, or Detonator as Claire. .On the third floor use the Crank to reveal the staircase, climb up and insert the Golden Cog Wheel into the assembly and press the button. Now get Knight Plug, or the Blue Stone. [03] THE SEWERS .Boss time! Get some weapons and go fight it! .When you get to the area where you play as an alternate characters, you must solve an easy puzzle. Move the boxes to line them in one line, next turn on the water and the boxes will float making a bridge. Now go get the Club Key. .Use the Valve Handle to move the bridge so you can cross. Move the bridge to its original position after you cross it. .Boss time again! See the Metal Canister? Drop it by pressing the action button, next just let the creature follow you until it grabs the Metal Canister. Shoot at it. .Finly, use the the Wolf medal and Eagle Medal to turn off the waterfall, Next exit. [04] FACTORY .Not much to do here in Scenario A, but get ready for a boss! [05] LABORATORY .First go to the cold room, get the Fuse Case. Next use it on the arm-machine to get the Fuse. .Use the Fuse in middle of the level to turn the lights on. .In the computer room turn on the computer, next burn the plant in air shaft and get to the other room from the shaft! .Get the Lab Card Key from the last room on level 5. .In the room with the giant moth use the Lab Card Key on the computer, the passcode is "guest". .Get the Mo Disc from level 4. .Carry some big weapons with you. .Next use Mo Disc on the big door in level 5, and exit...... uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu LEGAL STUFF uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu [0C] COPYRIGHT Copyright 2004 Adam Copper.
