Hi there as I have finally competed Mario Kart Double Dash I thought I might as well do a walkthrough for it so here it is.
With this guide it will hopefully help people who are stuck on this game and to get the grips of the tracks.

Though the chain chomp is a bit noisy, this is a relatively peaceful course.
The front straight and back straight run parallel to each other, so you'll see
Your rivals coming and going.
Whether you opt the outside the outside line and the dash panels or cut close
And stay on the inside track is up to you.

One of Mushroom Kingdom's most famous landmarks. This bridge is well travelled, so be careful not

This is the main circuit in MARIO KART DOUBLE DASH!! Familiar denizens of the Mushroom Kingdom can be spotted there.
The road's filled with curves, so this is a good place to practice corning and drifting.

DINO DINO JUNGLE

A jungle with a dinosaur in it!!?? I thought those where extinct? Ah well who cares this is quite a tricky circuit so be careful.

Light Karts have good acceleration but fairly low top speeds. However they don't lose too much speed when there go off course.

V. Items
-----------------
Item Box= Hit one of the floating boxes and the back player will gain an item.

Double Item Box= Run into one of these and both players will gain an item.

Green Shell= Green shells move in straight lines.

Spiny Shell= This winged wonder heads straight to the leader of the race and explodes on impact and any cars caught in the blast will flip.

Mushroom= This will give you a brief boost.

Star= These make karts temporally invincible and increase their top speeds, Karts hit by a Star-Wielding kart will go flying.

Banana= These will make karts spin on contact.

Red Shell= Red shells seek out karts in front and will flip them over when on contact.

Fake Item= These items look just like item boxes, so place them where your opponents won't expect them.

Triple Mushroom= These will allow three brief boosts.

Thunderbolt= These will strike all opponents causing them to spin and drop their items and shrink them temporarily.
