To play a different character in Kart mode you have to first complete the required stages and missions of that character to unlock them.

Unlock Boss Attack Mode:
Complete either Hero or Dark side story modes to unlock the Boss Attack
mode. Fight each Boss from either Hero or Dark side.
Last Stage:
Complete the Hero and Dark side story modes successfully then enter Story mode and a Last Stage? selection will appear on the menu between the Hero and Dark selections.
Go into Chao World and pick up a really expensive item, and go to the Black Market. Click on "Sell" then hit "yes" as soon as you hear the cash register sound, quickly press the "reset" button on the Game Cube system and go back to Chao World. The expensive item still should be there, and the coins you got from selling it!

I just found a chao that looked like it was crawling underground in the normal chao garden. And this was after I went out of the map a few times. And of course I experimented with the out-of-the-map cheat as well. And the kind of chao I found doing that was an orange chao that I hatched out of an orange chao egg I bought from the Black Market. And I didnt think that was possible for that kind of thing to be possible, but it is. I think you might find this as being a cool glitch as much as I did.
The way you do that is, Get the shovel claws for knukles then,Go to chao world and dig and if you do it for about 1-6 times a pumkin will come out.Give your chao it.It will wear it or throw it on the ground.You can do that with Rouge if you have her pick nails. HOPE IT WORKS!
First Get The Bounce Ring, Then goto any level go near a wall but not too close, spindash jump then bounce quickly but not repeatedly, then if done right you should bounce up the wall.(note this will take time but it gets you high!).
All you have to do is get a chao to reincarnate (going into the thing that looks lke a chao head and then turning back into an egg) twice then give it all 21 animals. But I've heard if you give it any power drives, it will cancel the evoloution, I haven't tried it, but I wouldn't. I've gotten the good chaos chao and the bad one, now I'm working on the neutral. Somtimes on reincarnation the chao head thing can turn grey and that means the chao will die and wont turn into an egg again, but if it's pink it will turn back to an egg.
This is really useful if you're planning to get chaos chao. Keep repeatedly petting your chao until it loves you. You can test to see if it loves you by whistling to it (it will come to you if it loves you). Give it a couple chaos drives, and raise it's stamina stat so the white numbers on it's chart say 300 or more. Enter it in a couple races and karate tournies (it doesn't matter if it wins). Then your chao will automatically reincarnate if you did it right. This also can help child chao transform into adults faster.
Buy an expensive item from the shop in chao world like a watermelon place in one of your gardens save the game. Then re-enter the chao world sell that item when you hear the ching reset the system then you will have the extra money from the sold item and still have it in your garden.
Keep your chao in place so that it will not take the animal and just out the animal down in front of the chao practice makes perfect if you do it right it will get the stat boost and your animal will still be usable.
As you enter the game at city escape you can start without you're board start with you're board first then when you hop of you're board you run full speed at a wall when you get nocked down you pause the game and l fall with out you're board when you restart!
Ok I've got two chao breeds. Your probabbly wondering what a "Silver Chao" is, well here's how to make it. First you buy a shiny gray egg from Black Market, then you take it to the garden (let it hatch on it's own). Once the egg hatches have Sonic and Shadow take care of it ONLY. Keep the chao NEUTRAL. Give the shiney gray chao green chaos drives. NO ANIMALS. Only feed it the fruit thats in the garden. Once it's time to evolve, the chao will then turn into a shiney silver-like colored Sonic Chao. And that's the Silver Chao.
On the sky rail stage at the beginning go as slow as possible and land on the bottem platform. Then grab the ram and 1 up and hit the spring. After that look under the diagonalbar and get the bear. Then restart and repeat
Ok to do this you need two memory cards then make a file on both and chose a file to keep[the file that gets the eggs] and a file that gets deleted. On the file that gets deleted copy the two eggs that are there to the other memory card and then exit chao garden and go to options menu then file change select the file that gets deleted and delete it. Keep doing the cheat over and over again. Hope this helps. Sorry for long cheat.

Press Z for Animals & Chaos Drives
Use only one at a time. Any slot modified by these codes cannot contain any other animal or chaos drive while the code is in use. Holding down Z after entering a Chao Garden will cause it to drop an infinite ammount of the animal or chaos drive in slot 1. Pressing Z while it's dropping them will cause it to restart and drop them all again. Don't drop too many animals and/or chaos drives or it will cause the game to lag horribly.
Animal & Chaos Drive Modifier
XX is the Animal/Chaos Drive you have in each slot. YY is the number of Animals/Chaos Drives you have. Set YY between 01 and 0A (10 in hex). If you exceed 0A (10) the code will crash the game when used. If you set it to 00, the code will give you 0 Animals/Chaos Drives (making it pretty useless). Set it to the ammount of Animals/Chaos Drives you want. If you want less than 10, delete the extra lines from the code.

oh the chao is where that robot is after you ride down the side of the building go forwerd then as soon as you can go left and youll see the a music box use your flute and do the course and youll get your money. really easy.!!!!!!
on normal chao garden go to the rocks by the pool all the way to the left with the tal rock homing attack in the corner to the clouds and you will leave the map and it looks like ur flying.

Here are some ways to get Easy rings
Go to any Chao Garden and go near one of the trees. When the coconut or fruit falls off, you can sell it at the Black Market. It does not sell for much, but is worth something. You will get 10 rings for the coconuts.
Go to the Chao Garden. After your Chao has hatched, take the egg and go to the Black Market. Sell your egg shell for the following prices.
Normal egg: 50 rings
White egg: 100 rings
Red egg: 120 rings
Get the Light Dash ability and go to Metal Harbor. Whenever the large rows of rings are ahead of you, use the Light Dash move. This is a very fast and easy way to get rings.
Get something that sells for a lot of rings. If you do not have many, get an old pot and use it for this trick. If you have the time, get a Shiny Egg Shell (recommended). You cannot sell the egg -- you can only sell the shell. Go to the Black Market with the egg and you sell it. then. Exit out of the Black Market and while still in the Kindergarten, hold B + Start + X for about two seconds to reset your game (without saving the Chao data but saving the game data). Since the Chao data did not save, the game believes the egg is still there, while the saved game data records that you sold the egg for a couple thousand rings. You will get the egg and the money back. Repeat this (sell the shell, reset game, then go back to the garden) to end up with lots of rings.
Play Sonic's first level under "find lost Chao". Keep going through the level without getting the Chao until you get 999 rings, which is the maximum number. Then, get the lost Chao .and it will add 999 rings to your game. This is helpful if you want to get a beanie for your Chao later in the game.
On the first level, select the third mission on stage selection screen. Go through the level until you have 999 rings. Then, after you run down the building, do not hit the bouncers and go to the right. Play the Mystic Melody and work your way to the top. Repeat this to get as many rings as needed.
In City Escape level, you can get more than 425 rings. This will give you more rings for the Choa Gardens in just one level. You can also get more than 435 rings if you get all the rings, including the Light Dash rings after you break the iron box after the street boarding part at the very beginning of the stage.
Unlock the racing game (just route 101 or 280). If you got a "D" or "E" rank on the first mission, it would be easier for you to do mission 2 (get at least 100 rings). If you got "A", "B", or "C" rank, just do mission 1 (get at least 200 rings and also get 2 extra lives).
For quick and easy rings, just go to the City Escape level and collect 300 rings every visit.
Use the following trick to get 100 rings in any level, especially Rouge's and Knuckle's stages. Collect as many rings as you can, then go to the back ring. You will start the level over with all of your rings, and will be able to recollect them.
Go to any level as Sonic or Shadow. Choose the third mission (find the lost Chao) and go through the level collecting rings. Do not get the Chao. Go to the end of the level. When you hit the goal ring, you will be taken back to the beginning of the level. You will have all of your rings and all the rings originally on the course will be back. Repeat this until you have as many rings as needed.
Go to the Black Market after you have collected 70 emblems. Buy a Shiny Yellow Egg (7000 rings) and hatch the Chao. His egg shell is worth 1200 rings.

You know how, in the normal chao garden, there's a shallow spot, next to the cave? Well, if a chao is swimming there, you can pet them while they swim!
