How do you heal your mosters and how do I use items it is just I have had the game a couple of days ago and don't know how to

You have to give a monster an item before the level, and then when you are playing chose the monster with the potion and use it on the monster
The above is true but there is also another way to heal monsters. You can build a Healer at one of your bases and select it but you will need 1 gold peice per hp need to heal and at one one of your bases if you just sit a while it will heal be itself (not in battle though).
