Question for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell

On the first level when you get into the bulding and she says "the contact is in this room" when you open the door you hear him sound like he is. You keep on going and shoot the skylight and get all the smoke out. I went into the next room and thats the farthest I got.

So basically I am stuck on the first level and don't know what to do.

When you go into the room where you hear the guy scream, look on the floor. I was also dazzled by this for a bit until I saw the guy lying on the floor. Go to him and talk to him.

What you have to do is when you get into the room and it says "the contact is in this room" you have to go straight basically beside the big hole in the floor ( don't leave the room) and the guy is stuck under a piece of wood on the ground straight ahead of you when you actually step in the room. After you talk to him then you have to go and shoot out the skylight and go through the door.

When you go in, ahead of you is a hole in the floor. To your right, is a door. Do not go through it! Instead go to the side of the hole where there is still floor. The contact will be lying on the floor there. Interrogate him before he dies and then proceed to the room where you shoot the skylight out and the door will now be unlocked.
