Question for The Sims Bustin Out

Okay I've spent well over 20k in Malcom's mansion, I bought 5 hot tubs, a new pool, the most expensive appliances, a buffet table thing, built a new room, bought the skill building thing from the lab.......... I must've spent like 40k and still haven't unlocked the limo ):
I saved and quit and still nothing
(gamecube version)
