Question for The Sims 2

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this.
But Nelson Longfellow is always crying and sad or in a bad mood
And he seems to hate socializing with Betty.
They are friends but I can't seem to get him in a good enough mood so she can Make out with him or marry him.
Can anyone help????

Yeah, he's cranky alright... Do whatever it takes to get his stats up to super happy. Buy him things let him play, feed him just concentrate on him and let your other sims look after themselves for a few days. Buy him the things sims like, and also, if you want betty to really like him, try mixing limes, passionfruit, starfruit and mangosteen. Get them both to eat it and they will have love hearts all around them, then get them to interact with eachother and they should get all lovey pretty quick.

I was replaying TS2 on my PS2 and I also got stuck on the making out with Nelson. After hours trying to make eveything to make him happier without success, I tried to give him an aphrodisiac drink, then when i git the red aura I proposed before making out with him. It worked! Smile
