In the second chapter you have to fix the TV, so you have to study mechanizms to fix it right ? OK the thing is when I say the character to study them with book he doesn't wan to study them and I always can't fix it. So help me out how do you have to fix that damn thing.

The character is probably in a bad mood, or just doesnt like to site down alot. check his hunger/comfort/social/energy/etc... is it bad or good? If those stats arent good, chances are he isnt quite up for studying mechanical books. if the character is more active, he might like the other alternatives available for building up their mechanical skills- other than sitting in one place and reading. just try to keep his/hers mood good.
Easy: first, enter MIDAS and FREEALL before you start. Then, once at the house, buy a virtual reality goggle thingy. Make him/her play it until they're "fun" bar is all or almost all green. Then plop them down with a book; they should be happy enough to study.
The more skill points you have in mechanics, the faster that tv will get fixed, but you have to be in a good mood to fix it so just work on your mood but expect to get electrocuted.
