Hi, how do you defeat zant, I just keep dying?

If you mean the big boss the real Zant youll have too:it starts out with him teleporting you and youll have to side step or block the bolts then bring out the boomrang and target him then throw it he should fall to the ground then go to him and start slashing him repeat it again and he teleports you to the mines and again block the bolts he will pound the floor so put your iron boots on when he does just after he finishes that charge him and target try to stay in the middle he may dissappear a few times so just wait intill he is exhaustied then run and strike then he teleports you to the lakebed temple put the zora armor on quick then put your iron boots on then claw shot him out of the stone head and slash him a few times then he dissappears and four giants mask appears he randomly appears in one so stay bewteen two and when the mouths open then clawshot him and start slashing him he teleports you again to the Forest temple where you fought the monkey-freaken monkey- change to your heros clothes and block the bolts again if you don't have enough hearts destroy the pots around the place wait intill he stands on one of the poles and roll in it twice and he falls down start slashing him now he of course teleports you again it's going to be in the Yetis bedroom which is in ice hes going to be in a gigantic form so watch his reflection on the ice and roll as he comes towards you bring out the ball and chain and target either foor and hit him he hops around holding his for lol then he shrinks into the size of a bomskit target him and attack repeat this again he transport you to outside castle town entrance he transform his arms to swords block his attacks and try to push him back then roll away target him and slash and spin attack as he teleports around you once you do enough damage he starts a spin attack that saps your hearts and knocks you off your feet but put on your iron boots and he has no chance and block the spin with your shield when he slows or stops use your on spin attack and keep this up and he should die in a little bit Good Luck!!!i hope this helps

You fight Zant in 6 phases, each stage mimicking an area you've fought in before.
1) Forest Temple - Use your Shield to block his attacks, the Gale Boomerang to stun him and your Sword to hurt him.
2) Goron Mines - Use your Shield to block his attacks, the Iron Boots to balance yourself and your Sword to damage him after he attacks.
3) Lakebed Temple - Put on the Zora Armor, Iron Boots and use your Clawshot on Zant after he attacks to slice away.
4) Forest Temple - Roll into the pillar that he's standing on twice to knock him down, then fight.
5) Snowpeak Ruins - Just keep hittig him with the Ball & Chain.
6) Duel - Dodge or block his attacks with your Shield and when he's done just cut him up!

You fight Zant in six phases.
Stage 1: Forest Temple Boss Room
This is actually fairly easy. Throw your boomerang at him to bring him to you, then slash away. Repeat as needed. Oh, and hold up your shield so you don't get hurt by his projectiles.
Stage 2: Goron Mines Magnet Arena
Use your Iron Boots in the middle to stay balanced while Zant jumps up and down to knock you off. Once he stops, he'll either shoot at you again (hold up your shield) or he'll be dizzy (I'm not sure which). Take off your boots to run up to him and attack. Repeat.
Stage 3: Water Temple Boss Room
Zant starts by hiding in a giant version of his helmet. You start out by wearing your Zora Tunic and Iron Boots. Then when he opens the mouth part, you can jump to the side to avoid his water-slowed attack, then draw him over to you with the Clawshot. Slash away. When you do it the second time, he'll be in one of four helmets--find the one he's in, then repeat what I said earlier.
Stage 4: Forest Temple Baboon Chamber
The Usuper King hops along atop the pillars, just like the baboon before him. Roll into the one he stops on twice, then attack him. Easy enough. Oh, and it may be a good idea to use the Magic Armor when you get annoyed that you can't get through his projectiles.
Stage 5: Snowpeak Ruins Boss Room
Run away from Zant's reflection in the ice, then use the ball and chain on his foot when he misses you. He'll hop around, holding his foot up. You close in for the attack. Luckily, no annoying projectiles this time.
Final Stage: South of Hyrule Castle Town
Zant seems surprised that he brought you here. However, this does not stop him for too long. Now it's a one-on-one sword fight. Zant uses three attacks--an easy to defend frontal assault, an impossible to break through spin attack (that leaves him dizzy at the end), and a manic slasher attack that is similarly hard to penetrate. The latter two are designed to push you into the barrier around your fighting arena--do not touch. The first is his first, and you can get a lot of easy hits when he does it. Keep your shield up for the second and third attacks, and jump around him. The backslice is an easy way to get out of his way.
Remember, this is just a loose guide to what he does and one way to beat him. It's more or less what I did, and it didn't take me too long.
