Question for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

I can't save my game!
Whenever I save and turn it off, the next day when it loads there is a message that says, "Your memory card is corrupted and needs to be formatted." So I clicked yes and it deleted the game. More importantly, THE ENTIRE MEMORY CARD DATA!!! I checked and all of the memory was gone! All of the hard work was deleted! I only had 6 games on it though. Can someone help me and explain what happened?

Thank you so much supercheaters,
Speddyfast

P.S: I'll rate your answers if they help me well

Darth Trayus answered:

Well my friend I am sorry to say that you will have to buy one. Either that or send it to nintendo so's they can fix it. :-( same thing happened to me.

sheiny answered:

Darth Trayus's right - your Memory Card's messed - you're going to need a new one and start everything that was on it over (sorry to be the bearer of bad news =S)...

I'm answering my own question.

I started over on the same memory card and saved. Then I clicked no when the message asked if I wanted to continue playing. I turned my Gamecube off and took the memory card out of the Gamecube. The next day, I put it back in and the memory was still there. I know why the memory was gone, I think the electricity went out while I was asleep. My dad said that he saved it again for me and the lights went out while he was saving it. It's just a big mystery...

P.S: Thank you for your help, Sheiny and Darth Trayus. I rated your answers even though I did my own thing for those who have the same problem. Check them out. Smile

wolf tamer answered:

This problem I have had to just don't put to much memory in that memory card it happens because to much of the memory was taken

Lambo84136 answered:

Can't help you. Whenever that's happened to me, it was only one game that had to be deleted, but what my friend does is take the card out and blow on it.
