I've heard this rumor that somewhere in this game I can acquire "Light Arrows". Is this a fact or am I chasing a hoax ?
I've tried everything to finish this game but as I enter the totally empty forsaken fortress, I find that there is absolutely nothing to battle or anything to accomplish.
Which leads me to believe that I missed something somewhere. A little advice from one of you seasoned veterans would be greatly appreciated. This is where I'm at in the game...
I've returned to Hyrule after collecting all of the shards. After a lengthy recap(look back)in black and white at past bosses, I enter a room with 3 doors.
The boat reappears and tells me a few things. I light the lanterns in sequence in the other room which reveals a portal in the adjacent room.
I can't open the third door (which might be my problem) so I jump into the portal and end up here at the, now empty, Forsaken Fortress. And I've been here ever since.
Lost as to what to do.
Sorry this was so lengthy. Thanks,

1)I can't remember.
2)You need to open that door somehow. Try lighting all the torches in that room again.
Okay, backtrack. You've beaten the Four Forgotten, right? Good. Turn right as you enter the three-door room. That's the door to the right of the funny-looking wall. Jump straight down the big hole in front of you. You'll end up in the Phantonm's Labyrinth. Fight Phantom Ganon until he drops his sword, then go through the door that the hilt of his sword points to. After several more rooms like this, you'll get the Light Arrows!
When you enter the room with the 3 doors you should fight a Shadow Ganondorf. When you defeat it, watch the direction where the sword points. Then go through the door the Shadow Sword pionts to. Then you fight another one. Repeat the process until you come to a room with a chest. Inside are the LIGHT ARROWS.
Hope that helps you.
Go into the room that doe's not! Have the portal, And just jump down the opening. When you do that you will continue on to the next step of the game.Good luck. Tut
It's true you can find the light arrows and you're very near them!
Get out of the forsaken fortress there's nothing there.Go in the room with the torches(lights). Then jump into the black trust me on this. Then there will be a fake Gannon kill it.
Now you open the door that the handle of the sword points to.Keep repeating this sequence and there will be a treasure chest open it to find the light arrows.
Go back to the main room there will be a fake Gannon kill it with alight arrow and use the black sword to destroy the door thet you could'nt get through before.
Actually, I know what you are doing wrong. The foretress is not the place you need to be in. You need to get back to the one place with three doors. If you remember the room you have to remember everything in, you need to go inside and jump off the cliff. You wont die, instead you will come up in the place where you have to fight fake ganons. Yeach time you defeat one, you need to go to the door where the sword handle of the dark sword points. ANd after a while, you will defeat them all and come up in the room where the three doors are. (Oh yeah and you'll have light arrows.) Use the dark sword on the door thats blocking your path, a little hint, you better have some bottles full of fairies when you finaly fight the ganon puppets and when you have a final sword to sword fight with ganon. Hope that helps
