Question for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
I appreciate the help, but I am still missing something. I am as far north as I can stand facing the tree on the single island.
I am so close to the edge my toes are hanging off and I still don't get the yellow star that allows me to grab the tree. I am starting to think my copy of this game doesn't work...lol.
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

I would suggest you try aiming your grappling hook towards all the branches you can see. Try them all. You should be able to see the yellow star on at least one tree.
