You need to beat the game and then play the game again!
Once you beat the game the first time - a couple of things change while playing the game the second time (same file)!
Such as the clothing you wear and when you get the Pictobox the second time - it will automatically be the Deluxe (colour) one!

Shiney, that isn't completely correct you can get it like that but you can also get it by completing all of the pictograph man's tasks.
Then you go and get the shiniest firefly at the forest haven.
Then you give it to him.

This may have been a long wait for a better answer then"beat the game". Do all of the pictographers missions. Then, go to the place with the Duku tree and catch a color changing firefly, NOT A DULL YELLOW ONE.
