How do I get through the room that is super-heated I saw the Deku Scrub but I don't have a wooden shield is that what I need to do is get another then beat him and have him help me or something.

I'm guessing you mean the volcano you need to be an adult link and you will need the red tunnic and the hyrule shield the wood will burn in fire.
