Question for Tales of Symphonia

This is weird but why won't my teammates attack? They just stand there and say things. Please help.

-They could be switched to "Manual or Semi-Auto". Fix this by pressing Y and then going into "Tech". Up on the top you'll see "Auto, Semi-Auto, and Manual" make sure that they are on "Auto". They should now fight for you.

-If this doesn't work, open your menu (press Y) and go under "Strat" now choose what your computer controlled teammates do. (make sure they don't have the stratagy that says "Teammates will not use skills or magic" or else they wont attack, so click that off by choosing another stratagy for attack)
