He is in event 51, along with Gannondorf and Mewtwo.
If you beat adventure mode on normal, hard or very hard with no continues and in a certain amount of time. It's like 18 minutes or something. I can't remember. Hope I helped.

Giga Bowser fights you in Event Match #51, which you can unlock by winning Event Matches #1-50. In the battle he is teamed with Mewtwo and Ganondorf - all have three stock - against you.
