Does any one know any good characters to use in the home run hitting contest..

Roy: Run to bag, press and hold up A smash (fully charged), do it again (fully charged) back up as far as you can at a range where you can still hit the bag and charge B.
Yoshi: Grab bat, jump above the bag, press down A, jump up again and repeat (you should be able to do it five times in total), hit with forward smash A attack. When you land from the air attacks, tap L to recover more quickly. You should get the timing for the A attack after a couple of tries.

Dr. Mario and Mario: Run to bat, pill(fire) from far, run up to bag, continuous cape attacks(forward b), forward smash A.
Luigi:Grab bat, run to bag, down A x2, down A smash x3(3rd fully charged), down A, forward smash A. For first 2 down A smash, let go when the bag touches the ground.
Bowser:Grab bat, RUN to bag, Smash up A x4, forward smash. Must not have more than 81% before forward smash. Should go 21%,41%,61%,81%.
Ganondorf: Grab bat, RUN to bag, Smash up A x2(first 46%, second fully charged), forward smash A.

Ice climbers: Grab bat, run to bag, continuous up A(when bag is "in"(touching) you), forward smash A.
Link and Young Link: Grab bat, (shoot boomerang, jump over bag)x5, forward smash A. After the first time, start shooting the boomerang while still in mid-air. Yong Link's first hit should give 19%, not 7%. Link's first hit should give 16%. Land as close as you can to the bag for both.
Those are all the characters that I got more than 1000 feet with.

Any one who can shott something like fox. Mario luigi dr mario falco and sammus if you get enogh % and super charge that ball

Ganondorf is the man for this. Although the strategy is highly advanced and you might have some trouble with it. And are you talking about 1000 metres or 1000 feet? If you're talking about feet, then plenty of the characters can do it. But either way, heere's the Ganondorf strategy:

1. Grab the bat and run towards the Sandbag. Use Ganondorf's upwards smash attack, then jump up and hit it down to the ground with his downwards A aerial move.

2. Jump once, press Z to drop the bat and use his downwards A aerial move again. If your timing is right the bat should hit the Sandbag at exactly the same time as Ganondorf does, so it should take damage and stay put.

3. Repeat this process. Using the L-Cancel technique you can perform this bat drop strategy up to five times before it's too late to use your finishing blow.

4. When you have about three seconds left move to the right side of the Sandbag, double jump just above it and at the peak of your second jump toss the bat UP using Z and up on the analogue stick. As soon as you have done so press B to start Ganondorf's Warlock Punch in midair. Make sure you land on the LEFT side of the Sandbag and you are facing the OPPOSITE direction (in other words, you are facing away from the Sandbag but you are right next to it). With the right timing and a bit of luck, the bat should hit the Sandbag just as Ganondorf unleashes his Warlock Punch. Hopefully, the Sandbag will repel off the Warlock Punch backwards and it will literally fly miles.

This strategy is the world record strategy.

Some good characters are:Yoshi,Roy, and Ganondorf.

Yoshi: For this practice his down A attack. Once you've got the hang of it, keep using it until the last second. Make sure you have the bat BEFORE you do this. At 1 hit the sand bag and he should go over 1400. I've done this and gotten 1614 ft.

Roy: Use charged up A attacks and once you think the damage is high enough use a fully charged B attack and he should go over 1000.

Ganondorf: Use his up A attack at the right time to juggle the sandbag. If you hit it at the wrong time he'll send it flying a short distance. Keep doing this
And prepare a warlock punch at the last second. You can actually use the bat or this, either one works. You should get anywhere from 1000 to 1300.

Benefits: 1300ft. With Yoshi - yoshi past stage.
Somewhere around 1450ft. Anyone - paper mario.
Total is near 17000ft. - unknown trophy.
Somewhere over 1000ft. Anyone - sandbag trophy.

Yoshi is definitely best at home run. Just jump over the sand bag and press down A as many times as you can. Then before the timer runs out, hit a home run. It should earn at least 1000 ft. I think.

Yoshi:Use down b as many times as posible then use the bat on the sandbag and it will sore father than 1000 ft depending on percent and skill level
