This is going to sound kind of dumb, but what exactly is all star mode?

All Star mode is where you choose a charecter and fight every charrecter with limited health items between fights. It starts as one on one, then becomes one on two, and then one on three. One life each. The field depends on the charrecter. Ex: Mario's arena is Rainbow Cruise. But you might not fight there. Mr. Game and Watch is always last and you have to fight 25 of him.

For the 100 man melee. Use D.K. His down B attack is most affective. Just don't stop using it.

All-star mode is a mode where you fight character after character with only one life three hearts available between battles. You start off fighting one character at a time, followed by two, then three and finally a ton of Mr. Game and Watch. At the easiest difficulty level, you can go through the whole thing without even using a heart.

As for the hundred man melee, it's very simple: use DK, down B. Keep using that and you'll beat it your first try.

First of all, don't worry about sounding dumb. How many people on here do you think actually know you? Anyway, all star mode is unlocked either after clearing classic with everybody or unlocking mr.game&watch (funny character).

It's really nothing special other than another thing to play where you fight every single character to clear it. Also for the 100 man melee, use donkey kong's down B move, anytime a frame comes near you, they should just go flying.
Watch out for explosives though. Here's a little tip if you're doing that to get falco, just keep playing versus matches and he'll eventually show up. Trust me this works, I've unlocked him both ways and this is much easier. If you'd like to try melees for prizes, here's all the goodies:

Falco - clear 100 man melee.
Male frame trophy - clear 100 man melee in 2:40.
Female frame trophy - score at least 100 ko's in endless melee.
Fighting frames trophy - clear 15min melee (hard as crap).
Classic dk lv. - clear the S.O.B 15min melee.
Some trophy - score at least 20 ko's in cruel melee,(I haven't done this just read it in a magazine).
I'm pretty sure you don't get anything from 10 man or 3min melee, but you're welcome to figure it out.

Once you have all 25 Characters, you'll unlock All Star Mode where you will have to beat all of the Characters one after the other using only one life basically...

As for 100 Man Melee - try DK and keep using his down+B move or Link's up+B attack...
