With Yoshi, Flutter Kick as much as possible and put him at the edge, then at the last second, grab the bat and Smash Attack it, it should go flying across with great results.

With Roy, apply as much damage as possible, then use his B attack at full power.

simpsonsfreak answered:

With Yoshi, run up to the bat and grab it. Once you have grabbed the bat, jump in the air right above the bag. Press down A (not all the way on the control stick) above the bag and Yoshi will perform his speedy kick attack thing. You can do this four times. Finish him off by doing his forward smash attack (with the bat) et voila! Each attack should do 25-30 damage so time it right. When you get good, press L right before landing after doing an attack to recover quicker so that you can do a fifth attack.
Hope this helps

simpsonsfreak answered:

With Roy, I got about 1500 feet. To do this, grab the bat and go to the bag. Do Roy's up A charged smash attack (do not charge all the way). Once finished the attack, immediately do two more of those this time charge each one up to the max (hold it until he attacks on his own). Immediately after finishing your third attack, charge his B attack to the max (he'll yell if it's fully charged) et voila! You should get at least 1300 feet if done correctly.
By the way, with any Character, you can get 200-300 feet just by doing their forward A smash attack with the bat (except for Sheik and Captain Falco).

Zelda Fan answered:

Just do down A with Yoshi, and then take the home run bat and hold the A and the D pad at the same time and you should hit it hard, do down A while in the air.

Archimonde answered:

I leave for vacation for 2 weeks and I come back seeing all these bogus answers and pathetic questions. And why do you want to get 1300? Everyone's goal is to beat 11.325 feet. (World Record)
I guess you guys are too nooby to get that, oh well. Anyway. . .
How do you get 280 feet with yoshi? Do you know what a ping hit is?
Do you even USE the bat? A ping hit can be done with most of the characters, you hit the bag (at 0%) on the very tip of the baseball bat and you get 404.5 feet. So how did you get 280 and 380? Thats just lol. blah blah blah. I hope you all read this and take 50 years accomplishing this. .
Ganandorf: run to the left grab bat, run up to bag and up+a. Turn left, single jump, down a. L cancel. Now do 5-7 single jump bat drop combos. (ask how to do this if you don't know) Now after those, including fast fall and l cancels, do a reverse warlock punch. (same as above, post a question about this if you don't know how)
====> 11,000 feet.

Archimonde answered:

In case my above answer did not get through due to foul language, (foul, lol)
.. Hmm lets see, to get 1300 feet or more. Use bat drop combos with any character. That pretty much sums it up. Dont listen to all these other answers, these are your average super smash player who don't know the full potential of the game. I laugh at them. Anyway. . .try this( the easiest strategy I know)
Take roy and grab the bat, single jump above the bag and throw the bat up right above the sand bag. Charge Up+A, when the bat hits the bag, release it so the sand bag stays still. Do this once more. After you release Up+A on the second try, hold down B untill the timer runs out. I can get 1500 feet with this incredibly easy strat, but you probably will only get 1200-1300. Anyway, if you can do bat drop combos that give 4000+ per character, I can't help you.

Archimonde answered:

Why is everyone telling him to do the flutter kick? And why did someone say it does 25-30 dmge? Hello!!! It's called repetitive move transmutation!!!!
Do this correctly, and you guys will see you can get to 2500 feet.

what is repetitive move transmutation
Archimonde answered:

I don't know if you guys know this but, with Roy, holding B down till he hurts himself does less distance than his 27th flash Flare Blade. I bet you all have blank expressions on your face right now, hey, it's okay, this is the play where nubs come for answers. And I am God right now.
Anyway. . . When sandbag is above 75%, and you guys hold down B, count the flashes, and on his 27th let go. . .
It will go farther than holding down B all the way.

P.S. you guys really dont know your stuff

Lmao you really need a girlfriend if all you do is comment on here all day.. I love seeing losers like you who think you've accomplished something from playing a video game lol especially an irrelevant one nobody plays anymore. Literally nobody in the world cares if your good at this game or not
DeeCollecter answered:

Well, I read through all the answers, and one person asked "why 1300 or more feet?" Because you unlock a new arena (not 100% sure, but I think it's Yoshi's past stage). How I did this is I used Fox. Run over and grab the bat. Very quickly, run back and hit the sandbag with the bat, but be careful, because if you hit the bag while you're too close, it will do 16% damage, but the bag will fall off the edge. Try to get it so it does 14% damage, and it will be so close to falling off the edge, it's not funny. At this point, there will be 7 seconds left. Just keep tapping at B (he starts shooting his gun) as fast as you can. If you do it fast enough, you will get him at 99% damage before you have to stop. Keep tapping at B until there is one second left, stop tapping B, and do a home-run hit (forward+A), and with some luck, it will slide it's way to 1300+ feet. That's what's stupid about this. It goes different distances every time, even know it's in the same place, and has the same amount of damage, but you'll eventually get it!! When this happened to me, the bag slid it's way into 1314 feet, and I was surprised when I found out I unlocked it because I read a walkthrough, and it said that you have to knock it 1400+ feet!! That's the first time I've read a walkthrough, and it lied.
