Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee

Dudes wats up I tried to get mr g&w by doing 1000 matches but it didnt work.My game even said "congratulations!you have completed 1000 versus mathces." Am I doin sumthing wrong?

Hmmm, that's weird - I guess you need to have the other 24 Characters...
And to be honest, it would have been easier to beat Classic Mode with all of them...

Play Classic Mode with all the characters. If not:
Dr. Mario: Classic w/ Mario
Luigi: Adventure stage1 in **:*2:**
Ganondorf: Event #29
Falco: 100 Man Melee
Young Link: Classic w/ 10 characters
Pichu: Event #37
Jigglypuff/Perin: Classic w/ anyone (exept Mario)
Mewtwo: VS mode 20 hours
20 matches 60 minutes
Leave it on all night
Marth: Classic w/ 14 original characters
Roy: Classic w/ Marth

You must first have unlocked the rest of the characters to unlock
Mr Game & Watch. So it means you have to unlock Mewtwo as well.

Clear Classic with all characters including unlockable ones.
