Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee
How do you know what version of SSBM you have? I was looking through the Gameshark and Actionreplay sections and some codes were for version 0.whatever and whatnot.

Either bash down the shield or get the squeirds on the other side to lower it. If you lack time, however, you'll have to go to your last save--probably an autosave, the way you describe it.

You check the underside of your disk, and at the right angle, on the blackish part, you should see something like "DOL GALE-0-0*" The * is your version #
