Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee
Is it possible to unlock sonic&tails by defeating 20 wire frames on cruel melee and unlocking toad by shooting all the credits at the end??
I would like an answer so don't ignore this one because my freinds did...
Or is it an april fool joke?

None of them are true. The Sonic&Tails rumor is a big joke by EGM, just made to make gamers do something so hard for nothing in the end. Toad is fake, too. The pictures are just copied and pasted with Pictureshop or something like that.

Sorry but... You can't unlock Toad, Sonic, or Tails.
But there are rumors the next Super Smash Brothers Melee for Nintendo Revolution(don't remember) might have those characters.

Sonic and Tails are not obtainable - that was an April Fool's Joke by EGM (people have gotten thousands of KO's in Cruel Melee, by the way).
Toad is not obtainable either - some site put up a fake method of getting him soon after than Sonic/Tails hullabaloo.

There are enough no's already, but I see this as a oppurtunity to tell the truth. There are no other characters than the ones who are mentioned in the cheats section of this site. So no toad and definitely no Sonic and Tails, because they are not Nintendo exclusive. Check the character list, and you will see there are only Nintendo exclusive characters available in SSB.

Your friends did, funny my friend said something like that, I ignored him though.Havent you thought of this when you throw a poke ball you wont see any of the poke mon like mewtwo or Pikachu because they have a role already as a fighter.Toad has a role already, as Peach's shield.

S&T are sega characters and in the begining of the game if you see the video then youll see it clearly says NINTENDO super-stars!!!!!!!!!!!! not sega.
