You cannot get Mew in SSBM.
To get Mewtwo:
1. Play 1000 VS. matches
2. Go to Melee, play something like stock and choose Pokemon Stadium, leave it on overnight, dont worry it wont do anything to your Gamecube as long as the vent are not covered. When you wake up, you should still be playing, KO all of the com.s and Mewtwo should challenge you.

It's Mew and Mewtwo - they're Pokemon!
Mew can only be seen by throwing the Pokeball Items - there's only a 1 in 251 chance of releasing him though - so it's kinda rare!!
You can get Mewtwo as a character by playing for a total of 20 hours in Melee vs. Mode OR by playing a total of 700 Melee vs. Matches!!!

Who on earth is Mute?Anyway there are two possible ways to get Mewtwo.
1)Play a combined V.S. mode play time of twenty hours.Use four controllers to only spend five hours doing this.A Clever trick you should agree with.
2)You can play 700 V.S. mode matches but this takes far longer.Go with the twenty hours.Good luck.
