If you lose to Mewtwo when you're attempting to unlock him, you obviously won't unlock him. However, you will be able to face him after any form of Melee. In the event you lose to him, simply go through a Melee with your best character to get a better advantage. You can face Mewtwo as many times as it takes to unlock him.

How to get mewtwo was esay for me I picked link and young link. Then I put on just pokeballs. Next I battle and I through the pokeball and mewtwo came out and it balst my brother and I won and it said,new caracter aprrouing and it was mewtwo. But I play 378 matchs. That what happen to me. Try it!!!
