I do not know that code, but I do know what A.R. is. AR is action replay.
It is very similar Gameshark execpt that it's different.

It dosen't matter what AR version you have.
You should still be able to enter the code which is on the AR codes page on this site.
Gameshark is also good.

AH! I know what you mean...
Using a debug code on this game can get you some extremely secret characters and such via Action Replay... It glitches the game and makes it unlock charcters that you would have never though you'd ever be able to control in the game. But I've never used it before... You'll need to try it yourself.
