Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee

I've been hearing rumors about characters such as toad darklink and paper versions of characters is any of it true if it is can you get em without AR?

You can only get them with AR.They are not available otherwise.

Some of the characters you can get but not all of them.

Darklink is the only one in your list that I beleive can be unlocked is darklink.

It has to be unlocked with AR though. it sort of stinks because of that.

If you look under gameshark codes there is a cheat for dark link. he is no different then link he just looks cooler.

Also in the codes list are multiple other things like king boo and giga bowser and master hand and lots of others.

You can't unlock these characters you have to use gameshark.

With gameshark you can get more characters besides toad, darklink, and paper versions of characters.
