I dunno - they are all pretty much the same when it comes to teaching - they all have moves and attacks for each button - just use Mario or something!

I find Roy the best character to play as but not everyone does. The best answer is to try them all.

I would have to say Kirby.

I would have to say Fox, hands and feet down. He's good because of his agility and combos. One good combo is to grab an enemy, punch him afew times, throw him down then while he's shooting them press either down B, smash up A, smash down A, or down A. Also if the enemy has enough damage on him you can use the running kick by running and then press A, this will send him in the air slightly behind you, then do a back kick in the air.

Another good thing about Fox is that when he deflects a Poke'ball the poke'mon becomes his. Another good attack is a hard one to do for beginers, but it's powerful, jump above the enemy and press up A, (this attack usually is good for under the opponent but this is like a surprise attack) the first kick will miss but by the time you get down to your combatent, the second, more powerful kick will hit them, throwing them off gaurd. Hope I helped you out.

I would have to say Roy is the very best character for that because he can block attacks, he is quick and strong, and he can jump good.

JoSlifer1 answered:

If this is a new gamer, I would advise setting them on a different game. This is really for the skilled.

If he's played games before, and is pretty good, Fox is a good starter.

If he's relatively high skilled at other games, Link is the cream of the crop. You have to be good to be Link.

Mastergamer123t answered:

Mario or Dr. Mario.

He is a pretty good character who doesn't fall very fast who is easy to master and has some pretty strong attacks as well as a good defense. He also has a reasonable jumping length.
He has no really big weaknesses and majors in fundementles.
