Hello. I have a couple questions I hope you can answer. In total how..

To unlock Falco you have to beat 100 man Melee.

To unlock Ganondorf you have to beat the event match Triforce Gathering.

To unlock Mewtwo you have to do 20 hours of VS mode.

For Mr. game and Watch you have to beat either classic or adventure with Mewtwo, I can't remember which.

There are 25 characters: 14 original - 11 secret!

Mewtwo: Play a total of 20 hours in Melee vs. Mode or play a total of 700 Melee vs. Matches.

Ganondorf: Complete the 1 Player Event Match #29: Triforce Gathering or play a total of 600 Melee vs. Matches.

Mr. Game & Watch: Complete either Classic or Adventure Mode with all of the other 24 characters or play a total of 1000 Melee vs. Matches.

Falco: Complete the Stadium's 100 Man Melee or play a total of 300 Melee vs. Matches.

You can also get: Jigglypuff, Dr. Mario, Pichu, Marth, Young Link, Luigi and Roy!

I've actually hit the Sandbag 1705.4 ft with Yoshi!!!

You get Mewtwo by playing atleast five hours of game time in Vs. mode, if you have one controller.
Gannondwarf, you get him by beating event 29, Triforce Gathering.

Mr. Game& Watch, you'll get if you get all of the characters or beat target test will every character.
And Falco, Just beat 100 Man Melee, thats all.

Hhhhmmmm, somewhere around 1400...

1) A total of 25 characters are available without cheating/glitching your game. When you cheat or glitch, I think the number is unlimited...

2) Mewtwo: 20 total hrs. in one melee (or you could just plug in another controller...
1 controller: 20 hrs.
2 controllers: 10 hrs.
4 controllers: 5 hrs. total gameplay all humans DON'T PAUSE!) or
700 VS. matches

Ganondorf: Event Match # 29 (Triforce Gathering) or
600 VS. matches

Mr. Game & Watch: Finish Classic/Adventure mode with all 24 other characters or
1000 VS. matches

Falco: 100 Man Melee (I would recommend using DK's down B attack under a platform...watch out for bombs and capsules!) or
300 VS. matches

3) I've hit it a little over 1000 ft. w/ Fox. About 1025, think.

1. 25 when you've unlocked everyone.

2. (a)Mewtwo:Play combined vs play time of 20 hours.
(b)Ganondorf:Beat event 29(triforce gathering)and then beat him at final destination straight after.
(c)Mr.game and watch:Beat classic or adventure(it's your choice)with all 24 other characters.
(d)Falco:beat 100 man melee.Hint use DK and his Bv move to do this easily.

3. About 2000 metres.

I've unlocked 25 players and that's all in the game. (Get the ACTION REPLAY to unlock more, 30 in all including Master Hand, Crazy Hand, Giga Bowzer, Wire Frame Girl and Boy. Find at most game stores. Cost = $30-20-17 depend on the store)

My way to unlock characters is this hint. It took me 3 hours and 30 minutes to unlock everybody. Here's how, First, go to multiplyer choose a level that is not wide (Poke'mon Stadiam). Choose a character and another for CPU and make Stock 1.

Just run off the cliff and die. Sounds hard to do that 1000 times right? Wrong, in just 1 hour I've gotten to 233 matches, I did that 3 times to get to 700 to get Mewtwo. You should get the other characters that you've asked while doing the 1-700 matches. If you've lost a match, do not worry, play again and die another time to play the same match again until you've gotten the character.

Don't go to 1000 matches to get Mr. Game and Watch. Play in classic mode on very easy, 5 lives, with every character, to get Mr. Game and Watch. (If you've played classic mode a lot then it should take you 30 minutes. Hope this helps!

I've hit the sandbag 1402.6 useing Yoshi.

Answer #1: There are actually 26 characters because you gotta count Sheik. They are Dr. Mario, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, DK, C. Falcon, Ganondorf, Young Link, Link, Zelda, Shiek, Samus, Kirby, Ice Climbers, Ness, Fox, Falco, Pichu, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Mr. Game & Watch, Marth, and Roy.

Answer #2: To get Mewtwo play VS mode 700 times or play VS mode for 20 hrs altogether (or 5 hrs altogether if you play with all players being humans). To get Ganondorf beat event match 29 and you'll get to fight him. For Game & Watch you must play VS mode 1000 times. To get Falco play VS mode 300 times or complete 100 man melee.

Answer #3: I hit sandbag exactly 2190.0 feet with Yoshi.

Well, for Ganon its event 29
Falco its 100 man melee or 300 vs matches
Mr. Game and Watch its beat everything with everyone or 1000 vs matches.

Mewtwo is 10 to 20 hrs. of vs matches or 800 vs
Sandbag I got around 2315.4 ft.

With Yoshi on sandbag be quick and efficient on the down a move in the air if you do it just right yoshi will sort of hover and will do about 46% damage.

Do that enough times and sandbag should be at about 173% and smack him withthe bat and he'll pick up an additional 20 and should fly 2315.4
ft.

Or really close to it.

I have a correction to make. Actually, I don't know if it's a correction, but all I know is in the American version of SSBM you have to beat 15 minute melee.
