Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee
Does anyone know how to use multiplayer in this game? I want to be on the same team with another player, or even a CPU if possible.
I've tried vs mode, but it's like a free for all when I play.

Press A on Melee in the top-left corner and it should change to team melee.

Go to the top left corner on special or normal Melee and click and the the person will say TEAM BATTLE. If you click on the persons color it changes. The teams are Red, Blue and Green.

Next to the place where you choose the options on the Select Character screen. Just hit a and you have a team battle.

On the VS. place where you choose your character, you should see an icon in the top left corner labled "Melee". Hit it, and it should now read "Team Melee".

You can click on where it says player 2,player 3 and player 4 to get CPU players.
This works in all v.s. modes.
