Question for Super Mario Sunshine

How do you get the different FLUDD nozzles to appear by the statue in delfino plazza I need to be able to do this to complete the game.

You just keep collecting shine sprites and eventually a news flash will show you that shadow mario has a nozzle and get one more shine sprite to get the other nozzle.
